was wondering if you would be able to write a 6 to 8 page analysis paper on either the comic book Red Son or the novel Wicked, looking at any issue within these texts that is of significant thematic, cultural, philosophical, or intellectual importance. I need to use at least 3 sources (scholarly or not). I can elaborate further if needed
This paper is a 6 to 8 page literary analysis paper. Students will choose one of the texts we read in class and write a 6 to 8 page analysis paper of that book, looking at any issue within these texts that is of SIGNIFICANT thematic, cultural, philosophical, or intellectual importance. Please write what you think is right, not what you think I want to hear. I do not automatically reward agreement with the professor or agreement with prevailing university sentiments (and far fewer of your professors actually do this than you might think). The grading criteria for papers in my classes focus primarily, but not exclusively, on the use of logic, creativity, and stylistic sophistication. Papers should represent your best work. The overuse of plot summarization or clichéd thinking is a sure way to get an EXTREMELY LOW GRADE on this paper, as with Paper 2. The paper should utilize three to four sources, all of which must be peer reviewed, reliable sources. Sources beyond these three or four sources should in most cases be reliable sources, but need not be peer reviewed (I’ll explain the point about reliability to you in class). The paper must be a FULL 6-8 pages, not five and three quarter
The paper must be a FULL 6-8 pages, not five and three quarters, five and a half, etc. Please use either Arial or Times New Roman as your preferred font format. Standard rules for margin sizes apply. Papers should be preferably in MLA format, but I will accept Chicago
the two book options are Red Son by Mark Millar and Wicked by Gregory Maguire
My professor says to sound very opinionated and not wishy-washy so if you can avoid that, that would be great.
