Consult other sources (textbooks, articles, reliable Internet pieces) as you examine the profession during these two time periods.

Attach a “Reference” page (not counted) with at least three additional (4 total) references.

All references and citations must be in APA style.

A) Look for similarities and differences; what actions during both time periods were similar; what are the commonalities? What actions were distinctly different?

B) Did the move toward the sciences come from within or outside of the profession? If outside, what forces caused them to embrace the sciences during these two periods?

C) Was the profession successful in embracing science during these two time periods?

D) What impact did these two movements toward the sciences have on physical education? Positive and helpful, or negative and divisive? Or something else? Explain
