Tax returns collect a great deal of information that is not directly related to the allocation of income or calculation of income tax. In this milestone, you will explore the reasons why some of this information is collected.

Look at the information on the IRS Form 1120 Schedule K (https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f1120ssk.pdf). With the exception of line 1, discuss the purpose of these questions. (You may select a sub-grouping of these questions to complete these questions.) What are some challenges (identify 3-5), both anticipated and unexpected, when completing the corporate tax return?
